Here is our 4th Sleep challenge tip for you.

 

Sleep challenge tip 4:

Make sure your sleep environment is designed for a good night's sleep!

Sometimes it’s the simple things that can make all the difference.
Darkness, silence and a cool temperature can make all the difference to how well you sleep.  It helps to have a comfortable mattress and pillow so that you’re supported and your spine and neck are in a straight line.

Ensuring that the temperature of your room is between 15 to 19oC makes it just cool enough for your body to sink into sleep and stay asleep all night without being restless.

If you can’t get the room temperature low enough, try this clever hack.
Have a hot bath or shower before bed. This can help your body actually cool down once you get out and go to bed!

Now for some decluttering.
We’ll leave it to you to try the other things but tonight we ask you to make sure your bedroom environment is optimised for sleep. As a minimum, we ask you to do the following… ensure your room is clutter-free, with no clothes or work-related items lying around.
