The Remote Alarm II used with Stellar™ and Astral™ ventilator systems, enables the use of the device in both the hospital and home for patients who need closer monitoring. The hospital alarm system cable offers a practical solution to connect directly from the Stellar or Astral device to the nurse call system in the central nursing station within hospitals and other care facilities. Remote alerts enable caregivers and medical staff to leave a patient's bedside without compromising care. Adjustable alarms can be easily set and quickly switched on or off, while fixed alarms (high, medium and low priority) provide extra reassurance. All of the alarms can be controlled using the Remote Alarm module, from as far away as 20 metres. This allows the alarm signal to be extended to areas where patients need special monitoring, such as paediatric wards.
